The Art Institute of California - Hollywood, a campus of Argosy University, presents an exhibit of photographs by Mark Edward Harris. The exhibit features a selection of images taken in North Korea, Iran, Myanmar, Marshall Islands and Tohoku, Japan, which was devastated by the 2011 tsunami. His stunning photos vividly depict the people and cultures of these locales.
Harris will sign copies of his books, North Korea, South Korea, The Way of the Japanese Bath and Inside Iran.
Friday, July 26th at 6PM.
Refreshments and light hors d'oeuvres will be served.
Open to public at no charge.
The exhibit will be on display from July 8th through September 21st

Mark Edward Harris' editorial work has appeared in publications such as Life, GEO, Conde Nast Traveler, AFAR, The Los Angeles Times Sunday Magazine, The London Sunday Times Travel Magazine and Playboy. His commercial clients range from The Gap to Coca-Cola to Mexicana Airlines. His books include Faces of the Twentieth Century: Master Photographers and Their Work, The Way of the Japanese Bath, Wanderlust, Inside North Korea, and Inside Iran. He is the recipient of numerous awards including a CLIO, ACE, Aurora Gold, IPA and Photographer of the Year at the Black & White Spider Awards. His newest book on North Korea and his first book on South Korea were published in June 2013. Harris has taught Digital Photography at The Art Institute of California - Hollywood since 2010.
