Outside Scholarships

Outside scholarships are scholarships for which the University of Montevallo does not provide funding and is not involved in the application or recipient selection process. Students are encouraged to pursue as many outside scholarship opportunities as possible. Although UM does not limit outside scholarships by number or amount, scholarships received may affect the amount of federal financial aid which students are eligible to receive. Students receiving funds from outside sources must report the source and amount to the Office of Student Financial Services.

The University of Montevallo does not recommend that you pay for any information on scholarships, as most scholarship information is provided free of charge.

Below is a list of some outside scholarship opportunities that may be of interest to University of Montevallo students. Please note that application deadlines may vary; it is important to review each website for deadlines. The University of Montevallo does not endorse any of these entities. This is simply a source of information. Students must be certain to read and understand any application that requires a signature.
