Fall 2013 Productions

Oliver Hazard Perry: Hero of Lake Erie

Jeremy Meier, Assistant Professor of Fine and Performing Arts at Owens Community College, was commissioned to develop and write Oliver Hazard Perry: Hero of Lake Erie by the Ohio Humanities Council. He has performed the 35-minute monologue throughout Ohio over the past year, and the date of this performance is significant because it is the actual 200th anniversary of the start of The Battle of Lake Erie during the War of 1812. This is a benefit performance with all proceeds going to support the Lourdes Drama Society.
