10th Annual Summer Research Colloquium Closing Ceremony - McNair Scholars

After 10 years on campus, the McNair Scholars Program at the University of Nevada, Reno will honor 13 students and their accomplishments during a 10th Annual Summer Research Colloquium Closing Ceremony.
This ceremony gives the students a chance to celebrate and share their hard work with University faculty, friends and family.
13 McNair Scholars Program participants will be honored for their work in an intense 7-week course that focused on providing students with a paid internship to complete a research project under the guidance of a University faculty mentor. In addition, participants complete a GRE preparation course, requiring students to complete 60 hours of preparation. In addition, McNair Scholars learn about the graduate school application process by attending a two-day seminar conducted by a national expert in the field and workshops on personal statements, CV's, poster presentations, and financial preparation for graduate school.
The ceremony is held at the Joe Crowley Student Union Great Room, Fourth Floor and is by invitation only.
